If you ask how green is my valley, I’d laugh and point to the lone money plant in one of the bathrooms that has survived with no particular effort from my end.
While I go searching for my missing green thumb let me post a couple of pictures of my neighbour’s green hands. They even did a story on her in the Times of Oman. Here it is
And here is the drumstick tree lovingly nurtured by her in full bloom (visions of murungakka sambhar float in front of my eyes).
And this is her mango tree a vision in yellow, a photo from last year.
And there’s much more on her terrace. Yes, all this at Darsait Heights, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman that has only two seasons – a scorching summer and a mild winter.
The will and the way… We need more of it!
